USD OUTlaws host guest speaker Michael Streit |
Vermillion, SD - The OUTlaws at the University of South Dakota School of Law and the American Civil Liberties Union of South Dakota will be hosting the Lavender Lecture with former Iowa Supreme Court Justice Michael Streit on February 28, 2013, at 5:30p.m in the Law School Courtroom. Justice Streit will be discussing judicial independence and the Iowa Supreme Court's decision Varnum v. Brien which struck down a statutory ban on same-sex marriage. The event will be hosted at the USD School of Law and a reception will immediately follow. |
