ACLU position

The ACLU of South Dakota supports this resolution. Districts are currently determined by the legislature every 10 years, with the next redrawing set for 2021. The ACLU advocates for a fair redistricting plan that accounts for the size of a district’s population as well as its racial and ethnic diversity.
