Senate Bill 124 would provide protections for the exercise of religious freedom and would open the door to the discrimination of marginalized people based on an individual's religious beliefs. Freedom of religion is one of our most fundamental rights, which is why it is protected in state and federal constitutions, but freedom of religion does not give people the right to harm others.
