UPDATE: The Senate Judiciary Committee killed Senate Bill 163.
Senate Bill 163 would allow people who have been convicted of a class 3 felony or lower for crimes that are non-violent to be eligible for consideration of compassionate parole during a global pandemic as declared by the World Health Organization.
We support Senate Bill 163.
