UPDATE: The Senate Judiciary Committee passed Senate Bill 174. It now moves to the Senate floor for consideration. 

Senate Bill 174 would revise provisions related to the automatic removal of certain charges or convictions from a defendant's public record. It would allow a Class 1 misdemeanor to be removed from public records after 10 years and a Class 2 misdemeanor to be removed after three years.
