Coffee and Conversation Event

Legislative session is over – time to reflect on the issues, battles, and victories. Join the staff of the ACLU of South Dakota for coffee and conversation as we look toward what’s ahead on the civil rights horizon in our state.

The agenda includes a brief overview of our organizational history, a look at our programming and priorities, and an introduction to our staff by executive director, Heather Smith. Our policy director and lobbyist, Libby Skarin, will then walk through a summary of the 2017 legislative session, and we'll take a look at what's ahead in South Dakota. A question and answer session will follow.
