Take a look back at some of our 2020 highlights. Yes, there were some good things to come out of this year.

Year after year, issues that matter most to South Dakotans have been ignored as some legislators introduce and support bills that seem fixated on the incorrect notion that our friends and neighbors are not entitled to the same dignity and respect as others.

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) occurs annually on Nov. 20 and serves as a time to honor the memory of the transgender people whose lives have been taken from acts of anti-transgender violence that year.

This week is a reminder of the work we can accomplish toward building a better, gender-affirming South Dakota – one free from discrimination and attacks at the social, political, and legal level.

Every voter should have unencumbered access to the ballot.

Our democracy is strongest when all voices are heard. Let’s prepare for an extended election process to make sure that happens.
