Last week, Politico published a leaked draft of the Supreme Court majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization that explicitly overturns Roe v. Wade.
The court has not issued a ruling yet, but make no mistake: this is a crisis for abortion rights in the United States.
If Roe falls, several states across the country are poised to ban abortion, and our opponents won't stop there: politicians are already talking about a nationwide ban, and they will do everything in their power to enact it. Now is the time for South Dakotans to take a stand for the future of freedom.
