We can’t let politicians and anti-abortion activists twist the narrative about this very common, very safe medical procedure any longer.
To fight back, we have to start (and keep) talking. We have to shake the stigma that abortion is bad, shameful or wrong. We can change the narrative around abortion and reassure people that abortion is essential health care that people across our state need – regardless of their political affiliation, their income, their race or their faith.
So how do you start? That’s where this self-guided Let’s Talk About Abortion Learning Series comes in. Simply keep scrolling and save the resources listed on this page to better inform your advocacy! Then take your teachings and put 'em into action at one of our complimentary events. Email southdakota@aclu.org if you have any questions.
