House Bill 1201 would requite school nurses, counselors, teachers, and administrators to notify a student’s parent or guardian if they discuss a student’s questions regarding “gender confusion or gender dysphoria.”

House Bill 1259 would prohibit transgender people from using the communal facilities that match their gender identity, like restrooms and changing facilities, at South Dakota public schools.

House Bill 1260 would require that birth certificates and certain official documents, like driver’s licenses, reflect a person’s gender assigned at birth.

House Concurrent Resolution 6012 would urge the United States Supreme Court to establish marriage as between a man and a woman.
